On Monday 26 January,2015.

Last Monday, In the morning, we learned about Narratives. When the class started teacher assigned us to do discussion about Narrative,and did activity in the class about ''Your feelings as a child'' After that,teacher allow to read the text and complete related tasks, then teacher allow to divide into group for did summary of the first part of the story by adding three fairly short sentences.  For easy of this lesson is identity genre and analyze  of  text. Retell  the story of summary is difficult for me because I don't know some vocabulary of the story and I solved  the problem by open dictionary to find a words,asked my friend, and practiced. For this lesson,I felt happy. I liked this lesson very much because made me develop oneself  in reading skill,wrting skill and grammar.

Recount (Blog 3)

Recount

On Monday 12 January,2015.

     In the afternoon, we learned about recount.My friend and I did the   exercise 3 and 4. After that, teacher allow to divide into groups in    order to write a personal recount. We chosen one of all in the groups for presented in front of the classroom. For this exercise, I found problems about writing. I must solve problem by learn about grammar more. In this lesson, I felt happy and fun

Recount

On Monday 12 January 2015. 

I studied  A Discourse Approach in Reading class. In the period, I learned about Recount. For this lesson is easy and some difficult. When the class started teacher introduction to the lesson by watching video about furious pace in Hockey Finals and Our trip to the Blue Mountain. After that, teacher allow to divide into group and do exercise 1 and 2 in the sheet. For exercise 1, reading the story and then we found words (action verbs,past tense,linking words and specific participants) and exercise 2, reading summarise the story.
 I thought this exercise has easy and difficulf for me. For easy of this lesson is reading the story  and find topic, main ideas and details but the reading summarise the story is difficult for me because I don't  know meaning and experience for reading summarise is not well so that I must practise. This lesson, I got many knowledge. I felt happy and fun for doing exercise and the last, I liked teaching methods very much. Teacher taught very well.

Course introduction (Blog 1)

Course introduction

 Last Monday,the first class I studied  A Discourse Approach in Reading with Asst.Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim. Teacher told us about Course Outline and TQF, materials as well as 5 domains of learning. Then teacher taught about discourse.

 I think this lesson is easy and some difficult. I think rewrite the sentences using the connectors in parenthesis.Make the necessary changes is easy and Match the following words with the correct genres of text is difficult for me because the reading paragraph maybe find difficult vocabulary and don't understand meaning so it is difficult for translate.
